About the Committee
The primary function of the Committee is to ensure that donations received are invested in instruments that provide reasonable returns within appropriate level of risk. The Foundation aims to achieve a substantial amount of donations; while the principal is preserved, the interests/dividends earned will be allocated to BPS in accordance with the recommendations of the Sponsored Activities Committee.

About the Chairperson
Ms Judith Yuen is a senior manager of the Securities and Futures Commission, where she has worked for over 15 years. After completing Form 6 at BPS, Ms Yuen went to the United States to pursue further study, and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley majoring in Psychology. While working in Hong Kong, Ms Yuen completed the part-time MBA programme at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Being a regulator of the volatile financial market, Ms Yuen is always mindful of the risk associated with investments. Due to her role at the SFC, Ms Yuen will not be involved in the selection of the investments which is done by professional advisers and endorsed by the Council of the Foundation. Ms Yuen will focus on the managing of risks.
